
Prism Advise on Sale of EDI Software Developer
We are pleased to announce that the Prism Team have advised on the sale of AdvanceFirst Technologies Ltd, a leading provider of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions, to PipeChain, a Swedish provider of global supply chain management software.
AdvanceFirst Technologies (AFT), based in Staines, is a supply chain software company providing EDI solutions mainly for the retail industry. AFT delivers tailored, scalable solutions that ensure compliance and seamless integration with existing ERP systems. Their advanced analytics tools on a cloud-based platform provide end-to-end visibility of business document flows.
PipeChain provides cloud-based Multi-Enterprise Network software for the automotive & retail industry and Collaborative Planning & Execution software for global supply chains. One of PipeChain’s two business areas, PipeChain Networks AB, acquired AFT – this combination of the two businesses will enable retailers and their suppliers to rapidly build highly connected, agile and resilient supply chains.
Prism Corporate Broking (Prism) is a specialist M&A advisory that has been helping owner-managers to buy and sell businesses for over 20 years. The Prism team are experts in the tech sector including B2B software and IT services. AFT’s two shareholders had decided to retire and they joined one of Prism’s insightful live webinars for tech business owners. The Prism team then supported them throughout the whole of the sale process – from pre-sale preparation and identifying potential buyers, through negotiations and due diligence, to the successful completion.
